Those Summer Nights

10 Jul

Yesterday Jim got a call from his cousin and uncle about meeting them down in Kirkwood for “Party on the Plaza.” I’m so glad we went. There was an outdoor concert that wasn’t loud. They played acoustic well-known covers. The weather was beautiful. After the sun went down, so did the humidity. We took a walk to Coldstone and shared some vanilla with chocolate shavings (to die for) in a chocolate covered waffle cone. It was lovely to take a walk together and look at the various shops and watch people walking their dogs. I can definitely see why so many people live in that area. It may be a place that we look at. It’s a wonderful place to spend a summer night.
