True Life

16 Mar

Oh my goodness. I cannot stop crying while watching “True Life: I Need an Organ Transplant.” One of the people featured on the show is a 25 year old named Craig. He proposed to his girlfriend and four months later he found out he has leukemia. He and his girlfriend were married and he started chemo immediately. After a few months of chemo, he went into remission, but his immune system was completely destroyed. His only hope was a bone marrow transplant given by one of his brothers.

Watching he and his wife endure this is so sad. I don’t know why these sorts of things happen to such good people. People who are hopeful and loving.

It makes me feel like I need to do something good – be a better person. A more healthful person. Someone who gives their all.
